Amanda Bell, LCSW

Amanda Bell is a compassionate and skilled psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with resilience and self-awareness.  She has a Master’s in Social Work from Kean University with over ten years of experience in the field. She specializes in supporting adults and adolescent clients through issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles and identity exploration.

Amanda takes a client-centered and integrative approach, drawing from modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care.  She is also formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).  She works collaboratively with clients to foster insight, develop coping strategies, and cultivate meaningful change in their lives.

 

Passionate about creating a safe, affirming space, Amanda is committed to working with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ individuals, those processing major life transitions, and clients exploring their personal and family dynamics.

Outside of therapy, Amanda enjoys working out, running, hiking, exploring nature and spending time with her family, friends and dogs.
